  • what qualifications do you hold?
    I've been a qualified pilates instructor since 2019, since then I've also done a number of additional courses and qualifications including: VTCT Level 3 Diploma in Instructing Mat-Based Pilates including: pricinciple of exercise, fitness and health supporting clients who take part in physical exercise health, safety and welfare in a fitness environment principles of mat based pilates programming mat based pilates instructing mat based pilates anatomy and physiology for exercise and health Nutrition Masterclass: Diabetes Covid-19 Awareness Training Pilates for Children Workshop Common orthopaedic conditions Pilates with small equipment Pre and post natal pilates (in progress) You can see my current certifcates here
  • can I only book online?
    Booking online is quick and simple, but if you would prefer to speak to me first, or arrange for your booking to be added by phone. Please feel free to use the contact me link above and I will be happy to help.
  • can I change or manage my booking?
    Yes! Once you have made a booking you will have access to member area which will allow you to view, manage, change and cancel your bookings online. Alternatively, get in touch and I can help with amendments, cancellations and rebooking.
  • how much are classes?
    Class prices vary, and the most cost effective option is a 6 class block booking which reduces the typical mat and dynamic classes from £9 per class to £7.50. Also, online zoom classes are £5 per class, and private classes at £25 per hour New Joiners on a Tuesday or Friday class can get their first class free, please contact me for a discount code
  • do you offer a block booking discount?
    Block bookings can be selected when you book a class, which reduces the price per class from £9 to £7.50. A block booking is intended to be used for a class term, typically 6 consecutive weekly sessions. A block booking has a 3 month period to be used, allows for cancellations and booking amendments as needed.
  • what is your cancellation policy?
    If you need to cancel a class, this should be done at least 12 hours before the class is due to happen. You will then be able to reschedule your booking to an alternative class. ​ Unfortunately, cancellations made after 12 hours before the scheduled class will not allow for rescheduling or refund.
  • do you offer a waiting list for fully booked classes?
    Yes, if a class is fully booked you will see the option to be added to a waiting list. To do this yourself you will be asked to download the wix app (for pilates by clare). The image shows what the wix app for my site looks like. Once you have logged into the app select 'view calendar' from the upcoming classes section, choose the date of the class and select 'waiting list'. Should a place become available you will be notified through the app alert and will have 30 mins to confirm your place (offered in waiting list order) Alternative, feel free to contact me and I will try and help by adding you to the waiting list manually.
  • what is the wix app?
    The wix app (for pilates by clare) is a handy tool to help you manage your bookings as an alternative to the member area on the website. The image here shows what it looks like if you download or are invited to download from the website. If you have any questions about using the wix app or my website (and member area) for managing your bookings, please don't hestiate to get in touch.
  • what is the member area on the website?
    You find the member area in the top right corner of my website, where it shows as log in. From here you can register and/or log in to the member area Once you have logged in you will see different options from the drop down navigation including how to manage your bookings, you account preferences and settings and see any notifcations. If you have any questions whilst using the member area, please feel free to get in touch and I will be able to help. If you want to be added to a waiting list for a class you will need to use the wix app (for pilates by clare) which is a little different from the member area on the website. Please refer to the FAQ's above which explain the waiting list and wix app.
